Connie Mack Play 16-18U

Updated Sunday January 15, 2017 by John Hand.

Hello Players and Families,

Niskayuna Baseball is excited to announce our partnership with Scotia Baseball to combine organizations and form a competitive Connie Mack Division Team.  Connie Mack Baseball has been a staple in the Capital District for many years and runs a very competitive league with several tournament path options which focuses on players needs.  This division of play is open to 18 and under.

For players currently looking at extending your playing experience at the college level Connie Mack provides several opportunities to be seen through their Empire Cup tournaments and their Eastern New York Chiefs All-Star Team.  The Chiefs are a team of players selected from the pool of players participating with teams competing in the Connie Mack regular season division of play.

If you are already committed to school, Connie Mack offers quality baseball with local travel at an affordable fee.  For the rest of the players just looking for more baseball you will get the chance to continue playing at a competitive level with your friends and team mates that you have grown up with through the Niskayuna program.

We are in the process of finalizing our manager arrangements with Coach John Furey, former Niskayuna High School Varsity Head Coach.

Fees are to be determined based on interest and the type of schedule our team wishes to play.  Once we have the team formed, players and families can decide on a minimal schedule within the league with a travel tournament heavy schedule, or choose to play in a heavy Connie Mack schedule and do only a few select tournaments targeting your needs for future growth.

The registration tool will be open for the next few weeks as we evaluate interest and determine next steps.  Login and register your interest at www.NiskyBaseball.com.

In the meantime if you have any questions please contact Niskayuna Baseball President Christopher Mennillo at unlv4@yahoo.com

We look forward to offering this new division of play within our program.

Thanks
