From PJ Lavigne:

Hello NBL Families,

We wanted to provide some clarification regarding Niskayuna Baseball’s 1st Rummage Sale we will be holding on October 28th  at the upper fields.

The donations we are seeking for this event do not have to be baseball related. We will be accepting all items one would expect to see at a rummage sale. Some of these items include:

  • Up to date Electronics (Excluding tube TV’s, VHS machines/tapes and outdated computers)
  • Furniture that is in close to new condition and without pet scratches
  • Baby items that are gently used
  • Toys, puzzles and games in good condition with all pieces/parts included)
  • Houseware and decorative items
  • Gently used kitchenware and small appliances
  • Sporting goods of all kinds including helmets and cleats

All donated unsold items will be donated to the appropriate charity such as Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army. Please remember to place price tags on your donated items before you drop them off. Again, items will be accepted for drop off at the upper fields on Saturday 10/21 from 10-2, Tuesday October 24th from 5:30-7 and Thursday October 26th from 5:30-7.

As you know, NBL runs on parent volunteers. Please consider volunteering to work the sale on October 28th. We will also have the concession open that day in efforts to sell out of remaining items (candy, hot dogs and drinks). You can volunteer for a shift at the sale or the concession at the following link:

Thank you in advance for your support!
